The Story:
A quaint view of the South side of Highland Street, Haliburton Village, circa 1910, showing some of the local gentlemen en route to a church service. Note the mixed commercial-residential make-up of the main street, reflective of an earlier day, less hectic times, and before the development of zoning by-laws. The Austin family homes dominate the photo, while the J.B. Anderson general store is prominent at Left.
