The Story:
Highland Street, Haliburton, circa 1920s. The Bank of Montreal is prominent at Left with Ern Fetterly's hotel beside it, then Berkeley Feir's pool room. At Right are Henry Brohm's general store, an adjoining confectionery/barber shop, the frame buildings of the Grand Central Hotel complex, and the main hotel itself. This shows but a small section of the busy main street, sleepy in the early hours of the morning.
