The thousands of visitors that came to Wolf Hollow from around the world were invited guests, fans, artists, researchers, photographers, and film makers. However, when the local people saw constant visitors on the property, they started knocking at the door at any time asking to see the wolves. Doran Signs in Bracebridge, Ontario made this sign which hung on the gate across the driveway. The sanctuary was not open to the public and local visitors were discouraged. Unfortunately the sign created a different problem, so it was eventually taken down. The wolves could be seen from the road for several years, so cars just slowed down to look, scream, or yell.
