Bob Simpson designed and made this sign for Alberta, a female wolf/husky hybrid. Alberta had been released into the wild and was found wandering in a provincial park, begging for food and in very poor condition. Ron and Sharon were contacted and agreed to take her. When Alberta flew from the Crowsnest Pass area, where she was captured, to Toronto International Airport, Bob Simpson kindly picked her up and transported her to the sanctuary at Gooderham. Bob and Alberta bonded on the drive north, and continued to have a special relationship over the years. Bob helped to construct the outside enclosure where Alberta lived.
