With the addition of two rescued wolf pups, Tundra and Taiga, and an abandoned raccoon kit, Wilfred, the Lawrences soon found themselves adapting their property to accommodate their new guests. Enclosures were built to house the wolves which required extensive digging and trenching of the Wolf Hollow property.

Ron used this tool to dig out a ground trench so the wire around the enclosures could be buried at least a foot underground. The sharp end was used to remove and loosen roots and rootlets in the trench. R.D. and Sharon also used this tool when planting in the vegetable garden.
