The Story:
Archie Morrison, deliveryman for W.J. Hudgins' butcher shop, posed in front of the shop with his truck, believed to be a Chevrolet. Hudgins dealt in meat, flour, and feed. In the background at centre, on the North side of Highland Street, is Dart's Bakery, famous for its bread and assorted baked goods. At the extreme Right is the Lucas family's Grand Central Hotel, a Haliburton landmark. Note the concrete sidewalk in the foreground, a civic improvement from around 1914.
