Haliburton Highlands MuseumOur Museum provides you with a great introduction to the community. Our Main Gallery facility features exhibits about the first inhabitants, the native peoples, the initial influx of settlers and lumbermen, as well as ever changing thematic exhibits which interpret the history of the community. We make extensive use of our photo collection in our exhibits. Our seasonal buildings include a village home, the Reid House, as well as our Farmstead log buildings which represent life in a more rural setting. We welcome researchers who would like to access our growing archives but suggest that they call ahead to book a time. The Museum is located in Glebe Park, next to the Haliburton Sculpture Forest and our neighbour Sir Sandford Fleming College. Owned and operated by the Municipality of Dysart et al.
